The Comité de Empresa (Workers' Council) is the elected body, a UGT union section, that represents the employees of the Málaga Center under Spanish labour law. We are not Oracle, not HR, not payroll — we are the legal counterparty to the company when it comes to information, consultation, collective negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Reviewing salary tables and convenio updates so people aren't underpaid relative to legal minimums.
- Negotiating RIF / ERE conditions when the company announces them, and historicising the outcomes so future negotiations have leverage.
- Supporting individual employees facing disciplinary processes, contract changes, or unfair treatment.
- Watching benefit policies (vacation, telework, health insurance, training reimbursement) and pushing for improvements.
- Building the tools and resources on this site so every colleague can understand their own situation without having to ask anyone.
